When the fine mulch is released under the roller it is firmly pressed into the soil.

 Berti will withstand severe punishment with its heavy-duty RHS headstock and its double row self-aligning bearing on a 60mm stub shaft, one of the heaviest in the industry. Its high-speed rotor is the only rotor on the market with drop forged flail lugs for added strength, especially in harsh and undulating conditions, while the flame hardened cast steel flails serve for a long mulching life.

With the bearings fully embedded in the rotor, this cost effective machine keeps maintenance costs low by providing maximum protection from moisture and dirt and from dangerous foreign objects such as wire. It also features a double skin in the mulching chamber for rigidity and protection of the outer skin, this also reduces denting when used in stony vineyards.

The Berti TFB/Y mulcher is very compact as it keeps the weight as close as possible to the tractor and provides better maneuverability. A full width adjustable rear roller is used for height control and is mounted as close as possible to the rotor to keep scalping to a minimum.
